The press events for the press and food industries started with welcome and greetings from Europe via Zoom. A presentation of Red Gold tomatoes “Wonderful journey of Red Gold tomatoes from Europe to Japan” followed. Several cooking teachers and experts (fermentation foods, tofu, bread, sushi roll, quick cooking, colour therapist, etc) illustrated the versatility and flexibility of using canned tomatoes.
The lunch and dinner were served after a toast made by the Consulate General of Italy in Osaka and one of the most famous Italian chefs in Japan in Tokyo. The full course menu was prepared with canned tomatoes and puree from the appetizer to the dessert. All the guests enjoyed the Red Art of “Red Gold from Europe”.
